Which Coach Did Not Vote Tim Tebow First Team All SEC? Steve Spurrier

After Tebow wasn’t named unanimous to All SEC team, I was not the only one that has begun the hunt to find out who did not vote for Tebow as first team All SEC.
The first coach that came to mind in everyone’s head was Lane Kiffin. Due to his words about Meyer and in general to UF, all fingers pointed to Kiffing right away until recently when Kiffin publicly made it known who he voted for: Tim Tebow. So I give you back a couple points of respect Lane Kiffin.
On Wednesday, Kentucky coach Rich Brooks; Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen; Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino; and Vanderbilt coach Bobby Johnson confirmed they voted for the Gators quarterback as well.
Thursday was Day 2 of the SEC media days, and the hunt was even more narrowed. Georgia’s Mark Richt said he voted for Tebow; Alabama’s Nick Saban said he did, as well.
“It would be very difficult for somebody not to vote for Tim, but I guess they did,” Richt said. “Maybe it was a mistake.”
This is the second year in a row the pick was not unanimous. Although last year there could have been doubt due to the previous season the Gators and with Stafford still being in the mix, that could be reasoned to pick Stafford.
We have it narrowed down to three coaches:
- Steve Spurrier
- Les Miles
- Gene Chizik
Which one do you think it was? My bets are on Les Miles.

Results are in… Steve Spurrier is the culptrit according to sources.
However, now it seems it’s a mistake.
Not sure if it’s a mistake because people made such a big deal or if it was an honest mistake.
Nonetheless, let’s move on.
