<description>Had Jonathan Phillips not missed that one PAT, Deonte Thompson not juggled that catchable long-bomb from Tebow, Brandon James not dropped that pass and Johnny Brantley could have conneected in one of those red-zone situaations, we could have won that game be a score of 84-3.

It was nice to see our second-stringers put out as high of an effort as our starters, was well as everybody&#039;s good effort of keep ing the penalties way down (mostly just procedurals). Glad we came out of that game healthy as well.

Besides Timmy and Johnny, Brandon James, Jeff Demps, Emmanuel Moody, Riley Cooper and Jaye Howard deserved game balls as well as Brandon Spikes.

Kudos to Mike Gillislee for a good showing out there and his first TD as a Gator; he&#039;ll likely make the Champions Club in no time. Kudos to Xavier Nixon on the O-line; another freshman making strides out there.

As long as out kids remember NO COMPLACENCY as one of the mantras this year, we&#039;ll see a repeat performance against Troy this coming Saturday.
