Give your child a Gator birthday party

BallHype: hype it up!

The Gainesville Sun is reporting how to get a Gator birthday party for your child.

You don’t have to lift a finger to give your child an unforgettable Gator birthday party.

Just let the University of Florida Athletic Association host the party and take care of all the details.

All you have to do is bring the children.

This seems pretty sweet!  The birthday can be hosted during a home game of these sports: volleyball, women’s basketball, gymnastics, baseball, soccer or softball.  The birthday boy/girl will be given “VIP” treatment, along with their guests, in the “Birthday Zone”.

The birthday boy/girl gets a t-shirt and camerat to take pictures of the event while pizza, soda and cake are provided.  Don’t get on the bandwagon yet, it does come with some cost.  It is $150 for 10 guests which include the children and adults and $15 for each additional guest.

Darwin Rivera, an intern with the University Athletic Association, said games for the upcoming school year are already posted at www.gatorzone.com.

He said it’s a good idea for parents to look at the schedule and book their child’s party as soon as possible, even if the athletic event they’re eyeing is one year away.

$150 isn’t too bad and considering you don’t have to worry about any of the food, drinks, deserts or clean up… it might just be worth it for you!
